Modular spatial compositions examining kinetic geometry, structural tension, and spatial transformation.

The installation features three-foot, self-actuating 3D-printed sculptures inhabited by 6mm polymer BB’s, which generate evolving organic soundscapes through automated rotation. These “sculptural instruments” are the result of intensive research into complex internal structures to appropriately shuffle the matter to produce rhythmic sounds that remind of waves. Engraved moire patterns and UV reactivity enhance the visual experience. The result is a visceral exploration of our relationship with digital creation, where the hidden resonance of the machine is made both audible and visible. Additionally we projection map directly onto the moving surface for enhanced visual engagement.
